This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
When Dollar General Gift Center
challenged me to create cute gift packages using only supplies from
their store, I was a little uncertain. I'm no stranger to the dollar
store, but had never actually been to a Dollar General. Gift cards are
fun to have, but not that exciting to open...so my goal was to find fun
ways to package the ones I give my nephews.
So armed with their $10 gift card, I raided my local Dollar General Gift Center
store. I was surprised at the huge assortment of products, and had no
trouble rounding up cute gift wrapping materials in their large
Christmas aisle.
For only $10, I came home with:
3 Takeout Boxes
2 Bags Shredded Cellophane
1 Large Roll of Ribbon
1 Oversized Glittered Gift Bag
1 Package of 10 Gift Tags
1 Package Tissue Paper
That's
a lot of loot, right?! Then I set out to make fun packages for my gift
cards....first filling the boxes with bright and shiny cellophane.
Candy is always a bonus, so I included some also found at the Dollar General Gift Center.
I added big colorful bows and cute little tags, and these babies are ready for giving!
Can you believe I actually found all this at Dollar General Gift Center? Hmmm, wonder what else I can round-up for $10!? Check out their Facebook page for more ideas!
